Project analytics prior to collaboration:

Project Visibility:

A project may have zero visibility in search engines, despite organic traffic from just 32 users. This could be the result of a number of factors:

  • Low level of competition: It is possible that the project is in a niche with very low competition, where it is not necessary to invest heavily in optimization in order to attract a small amount of traffic from search engines.
  • Specific keywords: A project that employs narrowly targeted keywords or phrases that few people search for may result in low visibility in search engines. However, it may also attract a small stream of traffic from those who do search for such queries.
  • Technical issues: A lack of visibility in search engines can be attributed to technical issues such as improper meta tagging, the absence of a sitemap, or other factors that prevent search engines from indexing the website.
  • Lack of content: If a website has little or no meaningful content, search engines may ignore it.
  • Insufficient optimization: Even with some traffic, a website may not be optimized for search engines to the extent necessary to achieve optimal visibility and potential traffic.

Analysis of keywords to assess the growth potential of the website:

A thorough analysis was conducted to assess the search volume and identify future potential for the website, as well as the effectiveness of SEO promotion. At the outset, it became evident that the primary reason for low visibility and lack of traffic was inadequate optimization of the website for relevant queries. The popularity of each keyword was evaluated through a search volume analysis.

High search volumes can indicate greater traffic potential for your website if you can optimize content for these queries.

Results of the analysis:

Conclusion:

The keyword analysis indicated a significant potential for increased traffic from search engines if the website were optimized from an SEO perspective. This demonstrates the significant impact that optimizing a website for search engines can have on its visibility and the ability to attract the target audience.

The results of the analysis confirm the importance of developing and implementing an effective SEO strategy to increase organic traffic and improve overall website visibility in search results. It is crucial to prioritize the implementation of appropriate website optimization measures to achieve the highest potential for attracting traffic and increasing conversion rates.

Traffic analysis:

Conclusion:

A lack of positive traffic growth from organic search is a significant warning sign for any web project or online business. A lack of growth in this segment can indicate a number of issues, including ineffective content optimization for search engines, competition in the chosen niche, changes in search engine algorithms, or insufficient promotion efforts. It is crucial to analyze and identify the underlying causes of stagnant organic search traffic in order to develop an effective strategy to improve it. This may include refining content, improving technical optimization of the website, increasing link mass, or revising marketing campaigns.

Keyword distribution by position:

Conclusion:

The top position in the ranking is of particular value, as it accounts for the largest share of clicks on queries related to the corresponding keyword. If a project is in the TOP 1 position for only one query, this indicates a lack of visibility in the search engine and a low level of attracting traffic from search.

This may indicate the need to improve the content on the website to increase its visibility and attract more targeted users through organic search.

The following creative SEO strategies can be used to promote a website, that specializes in publishing hybrid mobile games:

1. Interactive elements: Implementation of mini-games or interactive trailers of your games on the website to increase visitor engagement and attract external links.
2. SEO gamification: Incorporation of game-like elements for website visitors, such as quests with rewards for completed actions like reading articles or subscribing to newsletters.
3. Competitions and tournaments: Organization of online competitions with prizes promoted through the website encourages engagement and attracts new users.
4. Partnership with bloggers and streamers: Collaboration with popular bloggers and streamers in the mobile games niche to promote the website and attract traffic.
5. Exclusive content for subscribers: Developing a section on the website with exclusive content for subscribers, thereby increasing loyalty and the number of subscriptions (early game demos, behind-the-scenes material).

These strategies will not only help improve your website's SEO positioning, but will also create a distinctive and engaging user experience that differentiates your website from your competitors.

Team actions

Project Problematics:

  • Lack of metadata optimization for relevant key queries:

For effective work on metadata and providing high positions to the promoted website the team at RegisTeam initiated the collection of a semantic core.

An example of the work done:

At RegisTeam, we understand the crucial importance of a well-selected semantic core for successful SEO website promotion. This process entails meticulous keyword and phrase selection and structuring to align perfectly with the content of the promoted website and the services offered. Our methodology for developing the semantic core of a website provides search engines with a more comprehensive understanding of the subject of the website, which in turn improves the website's ranking on relevant queries from the target audience. We recognize that developing and optimizing a semantic core is an ongoing process that requires regular analysis of search trends, our target audience's preferences, and competitors' strategies. We are committed to adapting our approach to meet the latest changes in search engine algorithms and user preferences. This ensures our success in SEO promotion.

Once the semantics had been finalized and agreed upon, the next stage of the work was to optimize the metadata.

An example of the work done:

Proper metadata optimization is a crucial aspect of promoting a website in search engines. Meta tags, such as title and description, provide search engines and users with a concise overview of the content of a page. Optimized metadata can improve a website's visibility in search results, boost the click-through rate (CTR) of links, and consequently drive increased organic traffic. Consequently, investing in metadata optimization is an essential step towards achieving top positions in search results and improving the overall ranking of a resource.

Project Problematics:

  • Low website loading speed:

The loading speed of a website is a key factor in how search engines evaluate its quality. In general, websites that load more quickly tend to rank higher in search results, assuming all other factors are equal. Additionally, a website with a fast loading speed is more user-friendly for visitors.

A number of factors can impact the loading speed of a website, including the use of unoptimized code, the absence of data compression, and excessive external file attachments. To improve loading speed, it is necessary to conduct an analysis and determine which elements of the website can be optimized. It is crucial to prioritize optimization for mobile devices, given their rising prevalence.

An example of a terms of reference for software engineers to improve loading speed indicators.

Objective:

Improving the loading speed of the website on mobile devices in order

Agenda:

Image optimization:

  • Image compression for all images without significant quality loss.
  • Implementation of lazy loading for images below the viewing area.

Resource minimization:

  • Minification of CSS, JavaScript and HTML files to reduce their size.
  • Browser caching utilization:
Setting up caching policies for static resources.

Elimination of resources that block rendering:

  • Identify and defer loading of non-critical CSS and JavaScript files.

Server response time:

  • Analysis of the current hosting solution and backend processes for possible improvements.

Content Delivery Network (CDN) utilization:

  • Distribute content across multiple geographically dispersed servers to reduce load times.
  • Critical path and resources blocking rendering:
Embedding critical CSS and asynchronous loading of blocking scripts.

Results:

  • Report on optimizations performed, including pre- and post-optimization performance metrics.
  • Updated website code on a test environment for revision.

Project Problematics:

  • No alt* attribute on images:

*Alt-text (placeholder text) describes an image on a web page. It is located in the HTML code and is usually not displayed on the page itself.

Alt-text is an important factor for four main reasons:

1. Alt-text increases the level of accessibility.

Images without Alt text can cause issues for screen-reading programs because they do not fully convey the content of the page to the user. In most cases, programs will simply skip over such images, or, in the worst case scenario, read out lengthy and useless file names to the user.

The importance of the alt attribute is covered on Google Search Central:
https://developers.google.com/search/docs/fundamentals/seo-starter-guide?hl=en&visit_id=638024966705116403-842035800&rd=1

2. Alt can improve “topical relevance”.

Google analyzes the content of a page to determine its subject matter. The use of alt attributes helps search engines to “see” images, thereby enabling them to better understand the content of your page.

3. Alt-text can boost the ranking of a page on Google Images.

Google Images is the second largest search engine in the world. It handles 20.45% of all search queries on the web, which is more than YouTube, Bing and other search engines combined.

4. Alt-text serves as anchor text for image links.

Anchor text is the clickable text of a link that takes you from one page to another. Google uses it to gain a better understanding of the subject of the page to which the link leads.

Project Problematics:

  • Irregular website updates:

Even if a website was initially well-optimized, without regular content updates, its rankings may drop. As Lewis Carroll said, to stay in place, you have to run as fast as you can, and to move forward, you must run twice as fast.

An example of a developed content plan for the current project:

These articles will help the website audience learn more about mobile hybrid games, their development, trends and future prospects in the GameDev industry.

Project Problematics:

  • Lack of external factors optimization

Our objective was to obtain high-quality external links that are relevant to the website’s topic. Furthermore, we conducted an audit of the existing link portfolio with the goal of removing low-quality links.

PM-Casebook: Negotiations, Deadlines, Success

Promoting a hybrid casual mobile game publisher sounded like an exciting project. Game development, creative solutions, a large audience—an excellent opportunity to make an impact! But very quickly, we discovered that the main obstacle in the project was… the client themselves.

Project Challenges: Today’s Idea – Tomorrow’s Trash

Working with a game development company, we encountered a never-ending stream of new ideas that… were discarded just as quickly as they appeared:

A new promotion strategy every week. Content marketing? No, let’s focus on TikTok. TikTok? No, native articles might be better. Or maybe we should just give away in-game bonuses?

Constantly shifting focus. First, we promoted specific games, then suddenly the entire brand, and then back to individual games again.

Creativity vs. analytics. The client wanted “virality” but didn’t trust analytics or SEO forecasts.

Endless discussions with no decisions. Every meeting turned into a brainstorming session, but real action was continuously postponed.

Solution: Strict Frameworks and Prioritization

To prevent the project from drowning in ideas without execution, we implemented a rigorous control system:

1. Capped the number of “brilliant” ideas per month—locking in the strategy and adjusting it no more than once per quarter.

2. Divided tasks into strategic and tactical—major goals remained unchanged, while experiments were conducted within test hypotheses.

3. Backed decisions with data—every new creative idea had to pass one test: “How will it impact traffic, conversions, and brand growth?” If there were no clear answers, the idea was rejected.

4. Restructured meetings—every discussion had to end with concrete decisions rather than an endless stream of inspiration.

5. Introduced performance reports—data became the key argument in setting priorities.

Results: Focus Instead of Chaos

A few months later, the project finally found its rhythm: instead of chaotic shifts, there was a clear strategy. The client stopped jumping between ideas and realized that sustainable growth isn’t about “viral tricks” but about systematic work.

This case once again proves that PMs aren’t just managers—they are the ones who transform a flood of ideas into tangible actions and help clients avoid getting lost in their own creativity.
