Project Visibility:

When analyzing a website, several key analytical metrics provide insight into its performance on search engines.

Let’s break down the metrics presented by the RegisTeam:

Visibility (5.02): This metric reflects how visible a website is on search engine results pages (SERPs). Visibility score of 5.02. While it can vary depending on the scale used by different SEO tools, it usually indicates a good level of visibility. This score indicates that the website is already ranking for a number of keywords, but there is significant room for improvement. Especially if the maximum in this niche is significantly higher in the competitors.

When giving advice on a strategy to promote a website that already has a high position in search engines, it is important to realize that maintaining and strengthening the current position is as important as its initial achievement. Here are a few key strategies to consider:

1. Diversifying and Improving Content: Even if your website is ranking well, constantly updating and adding high quality content is vital. Focus on diversifying the types of content you offer: blogs, videos, infographics. Explore new but relevant topics or work deeper into topics already covered. This will help retain your current audience and attract new visitors.

2. User Experience Optimization: A top ranking website should provide a superior user experience. This also means fast loading speeds, mobile optimization, intuitive navigation, and attractive design. Regular website usability audits and edits are crucial.

3. Advanced Keyword Strategy: Instead of just focusing on high traffic keywords, explore long-tail keywords and niche topics. These areas may have lower search volume, but may attract targeted traffic and have less competition.

4. Strengthening Backlink Profile: Continue to build and maintain a healthy backlink profile. Aim for quality and relevant backlinks, not just a large number of them. Periodically review your backlink profile to remove any toxic links.

5. Local SEO Optimization: If your business has a local component, make sure that local SEO optimization is part of your strategy. This includes maintaining up-to-date listings on Google My Business and other local directories, acquiring local backlinks, and creating locally relevant content.

6. Voice Search Optimization: With the increasing use of voice-activated devices, optimize your content for voice search. This often means focusing on more conversational keywords and frequently asked questions.

7. Technical SEO: Regularly check your website for technical SEO aspects such as website structure, crawl errors, broken links and schema markup. Technical reliability is critical to maintaining high ratings.

8. Monitoring and Analytics: Continuously monitor your website's performance with tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Keep an eye on rankings, organic traffic, bounce rates and other key metrics. Use this data to inform your strategy.

9. Audience Engagement: Actively engage with your audience through comments, forums or social media. Building a community around your content can build loyalty and increase repeat visits.

10. Competitor Analysis: Keep an eye on your competitors. Understand what they do well and what they make mistakes on, where their shortcomings are. Use this information to improve your own strategies.

To summarize. When your website is already ranking well, you need to shift your focus to maintaining rankings by constantly improving, diversifying and following SEO trends. Remember, SEO is not a one-time task, but an ongoing process.

Traffic Analysis:

Team actions

Project Problematics:

  • Errors when working with rel=canonical attribute

It is important to pay attention to the proper use of the rel=canonical attribute in SEO. Improper application can lead to serious problems:

1. Incorrect Canonicalization: Specifying an inappropriate URL as a canonical URL can lead to the indexing of unwanted pages.
2. Splitting Link Weight: Different canonical links for the same content reduce a website's SEO performance.
3. Indexing Problems: Improper use can cause search engines to ignore important pages.
4. Deteriorating User Experience: Incorrect canonical links can confuse users, for example by redirecting them to irrelevant pages.

Carefully analyzing and testing the use of rel=canonical, as well as regular website audits, will help you avoid these mistakes and strengthen your SEO strategy.

Project Problematics:

  • Incorrect use of html code markup:

RegisTeam worked on correct markup of HTML code, only semantic tags were used to create pages.

Tags h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 are search engine robots that collect information for semantic analysis. H1, h2, h3 level headings are particularly important to bots. Their inconsistent or incorrect application can negatively affect page ranking. If there are no h-tags at all in the HTML code, it will be difficult to promote the website.

Structure is critical if you desire quality content evaluation by search engines.
The h1 is the main subheading in an article and is usually placed above the text.
The h2-h6 are small subheadings that are nested.

Implemented Terms of Reference:

On the main page of the website changed the h3 headers to span or div \with keeping the css styles current.

Example headlines:

Wissenschaftliches Lektorat
Plagiatsprüfung + Korrektur
Roter-Faden-Check
Formatierung
Fußnoten Korrektur (Zitation)
Literaturverzeichnis
Experten-Feedback
Korrektur Dienste
Hochladen
Korrekturdienste wählen
Bestnote bekommen

Project Problematics:

  • Lack of Open Graph Markup:

Open Graph (OG) markup is important for several reasons:

Social Media Visibility Improvement: When your website content is shared on social media websites like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter, the OG markup determines how the link to your website will look. This includes the title, description, and image. Well-optimized OG markup makes the link more attractive and increases the likelihood that people will click on it.

User Experience Improvement: OG markup helps ensure consistency and accuracy in the information that is displayed when sharing a link to your website on social media. This contributes to a better user experience as users see relevant and accurate content previews.

Social Traffic Impact: While OG markup does not directly affect search engine rankings, it can increase social traffic to your website. This, in turn, can indirectly improve SEO as search engines take into account a website’s traffic and popularity when determining its ranking.

Content Semantic Link: OG markup helps social networks understand the structure and content of your website, which helps content distribution to be more accurate and efficient.

Overall, OG markup plays a key role in improving the visibility and appeal of your content on social media, which can indirectly impact SEO and increase organic traffic to your website.

An example of a terms of reference for protocol implementation:

1. Adding code before the <head> tag on all pages of the website:

<html prefix=”og: http://ogp.me/ns#”>

2. Adding meta description between <head></head> tags on all pages of the site:

<meta property=”og:locale” content=”[locale]” />
<meta property=”og:title” content=”[title]” />
<meta property=”og:description” content=”[description]” />
<meta property=”og:url” content=”[url]” />
<meta property=”og:image” content=”[img_url]” />

Where:

[locale] – language and country;
[title] – title of this page;
[description] – description of this page;
[url] – URL of this page;
[img_url] – main image of this page.

The following social networks are currently supported:

  • Facebook;
  • Twitter;
  • Google+;
  • Instagram;
  • YouTube;
  • LinkedIn;
  • Myspace;
  • Pinterest;
  • SoundCloud;
  • Tumblr.

Project Problematics:

  • The website has several “website mirrors”

Website accessibility both with and without the "www" can cause the following problems:

1. Duplicate content: If a website is available in both, it can lead to duplicate content, which negatively affects SEO.
2. Link Authority Split: Links to both versions of a website share authority, which reduces overall SEO potential.
3. Cookie and Session Problems: Different versions of the website may cause problems with cookie management and user sessions.
4. Technical Complexities: Managing two versions increases the technical complexity of maintaining the website.

SEO specialists at RegisTeam have developed recommendations on choosing one version of the website (with or without “www”) and using 301 redirects from the unused version by means of regular expressions.

Example of regular expressions to redirect from www to non-www:

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !\?
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !\&
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !\=
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !\.
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ![^\/]$
RewriteRule ^(.*)\/$ /$1 [R=301,L]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www\.(.*)$
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://%1/$1 [L,R=301]

Due to software or CMS peculiarities, the suggested regular expressions may not work. In this case, the programmer selects the correct regular for the website

Project Problematics:

  • Metadata duplicates:

The following actions were performed to improve the metadata:

  • Keyword Analysis: A detailed analysis was performed to identify the keywords most relevant and frequently used by the target audience.
  • Title and Description Meta Tags Optimization: The meta tags on each page were edited to include important keywords, while ensuring they were naturally positioned and appealing to visitors.
  • Page Content Change: Page content was adjusted to better match search queries, with a focus on relevancy and quality.

Example of elaborated semantic core for the current project:

Project Problematics:

  • Irrelevant, outdated content on the blog:

Work has been done to update and improve old blog posts and old publications. Why it’s important.

  • To increase traffic to the most effective publications in terms of conversion.
  • To amplify the number of leads from articles with the lowest conversion rate.

Lead Magnet Strategy to Increase Orders from the Website

SEO Glossary:

A lead magnet strategy is a marketing technique used to generate leads by offering them valuable content or a service for free in exchange for contact information such as an email address. This can be anything from free ebooks, webinars, discount coupons, free trials of a product or service.

The goal of this strategy is to attract potential customers, get them interested and gradually guide them towards a purchase. Lead magnets help you connect with your audience and build a database of potential customers for further interaction, such as through email marketing. It is an effective way to increase reach and brand credi

One of the criteria for an effective SEO strategy for this project is to increase the number of queries from the website. To achieve this goal, our team of SEO experts developed a lead magnet strategy to increase orders from our website. This strategy combines in-depth market analysis, content optimization, and carefully considered methods of target audience engagement to not only improve our website’s visibility in search engines, but also significantly increase the conversion of visitors into real customers.

The rules and principles of lead magnet placement can be summarized as follows:

  • The magnet should not only be real, but also benefit the customer. Any deception is ruled out.
  • A lead magnet should attract attention. The ideal is to use a bright and large banner or pop-up.

Step 1: Implement a low-cost block for writing services:

Step 2: Implement a block of “live” feedback from students:

Step 3: Maximize the services on the website:

Step 4: Realize express functionality allowing to implement the task in the shortest possible time:

PM-Casebook: Negotiations, Deadlines, Success

In project management, there’s an axiom: what seems like success isn’t always actually success. We were promoting an EdTech aggregator for thesis, essay, and report writing, and the first results were impressive. Traffic was growing, conversions were increasing, but suddenly… the client claimed SEO was harming the business. How could this happen?

Project Challenges: Too Fast Growth and Toxic Traffic

Here’s what we uncovered when we analyzed the situation:

– Traffic had indeed increased, but most of it came from students searching for free papers, not the target audience.

– The server load increased, but actual orders hardly grew.

– Negative comments emerged—students were expecting free access and left poor reviews when they realized the platform was paid.

– The client panicked: instead of increasing orders, the platform’s reputation was deteriorating.

Solution: SEO Isn’t Always About “The More, The Better”

1. Reevaluated the keywords—we filtered out high-traffic, low-intent keywords to improve conversion rates and focused on more specific, commercial keywords.

2. Updated the page structure—made sure the free content didn’t appear as the platform’s main offering.

3. Changed the content approach—instead of simply listing papers, we started publishing articles on how to properly format theses, reports, and essays, attracting a more loyal audience.

4. Introduced indexing restrictions for non-target pages—we hid some pages with free materials from search engines.

5. Set up retargeting campaigns—to capture interested users and bring them back with a focus on purchases.

Results: Quality of Traffic Matters More Than Quantity

After adjusting the strategy, the client saw that while overall traffic slightly decreased, conversions increased, and negative reviews dropped. The platform shifted its focus from irrelevant traffic to high-intent buyers.

This case proves: PM is not just about following a strategy but also about constant analysis and adaptation, even when it seems like everything is going perfectly. Sometimes, it’s not about chasing numbers but choosing the right direction.
