Google Business Profile is a free business profile in Google Search and Maps that lets you manage contact information, work with reviews, publish updates, and communicate with customers.
If you want to involve colleagues, an agency, or a partner in managing the profile, you simply need to grant them access with the appropriate role.
Before granting access, it’s important to understand the available roles:
– Primary owner – full control over the profile; can add or remove users and transfer ownership.
– Owner – almost the same permissions as the primary owner, except for certain ownership and corporate settings.
– Manager – can edit profile information, publish posts, and respond to reviews, but cannot add or remove users or change ownership.
Step 1. Sign in to your Google account
Sign in to the Google account that owns or has already verified the business profile. Without this, you won’t be able to grant access to other users.
Step 2. Open your business profile
1. Go to business.google.com or search for your business name directly in Google.
2. In the search results, click on your profile to open the management panel.
Step 3. Go to access settings
1. In the profile, find the “People and access” menu (also labeled as “Users” or “Access”). This option is usually located in the settings section (the three dots “⋮” or Business Profile settings).
2. Click “People and access” – a list of users and their roles will open.
Step 4. Invite a user
1. In the access window, click “Add” / “Invite new users” or the user-add icon.
2. In the Email field, enter the Google account address of the RegisTeam representative: [email protected].
3. Select the required access level – usually Manager (this level is sufficient for full profile management).
4. Click “Invite”.
Step 5. Accepting the invitation
The invited user will receive an email from Google with a link to confirm access. Once accepted, they will be able to manage the profile according to the role you assigned.
