Instructions

To provide access to Google Tag Manager (GTM) for another user, follow these step:

1. Log in to your GTM account: Go to https://tagmanager.google.com/ and sign in with your Google credentials.

2. Select the appropriate container: If you have multiple containers, choose the one to which you want to grant access.

3. Navigate to the “Admin” tab: In the top menu, click on the “Admin” tab.

4. Go to “User Management”: In the “Container” column, select “User Management”.

5. Add a new user: Click the “+” button and select “Add users”.

5.1. Enter the email address of the user you wish to grant access to.

6. Set permissions: In the “Container Permissions” section, assign the desired level of access:

  • Read: The user can view settings but cannot make changes.
  • Edit: The user can create and edit tags, triggers, and variables but cannot publish changes.
  • Approve: The user can approve or reject changes but cannot publish them.
  • Publish: The user has full access, including the ability to publish changes.

7. Send the invitation: After setting the permissions, click “Invite”. The user will receive an email invitation to access your GTM container.
