Challenges of the project
At the start of work on the AI Visibility Strategy, the project had already had a successfully implemented SEO strategy from RegisTeam. It helped grow organic traffic from 160,653 to 407,202 sessions per month (+153%) and significantly improved the website’s visibility in Google.

The next stage of development was promoting the brand in generative search. The main goal was to increase AI Visibility, expand the number of pages used by AI platforms, and strengthen the brand’s presence in Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, and Grok.
Project analytics
AI Visibility analysis
At the start of the project, we conducted a comprehensive AI Brand Visibility Audit covering Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, and Grok. The analysis showed that despite having high-quality content, the website had insufficient presence in the answers generated by AI systems. AI used only a small share of the pages, while the brand received almost no recommendations for topic-related queries.
For modern search, this is no longer enough. If a website is not used by AI models when generating answers, the business gradually loses a new channel of organic visibility, regardless of its rankings in classic Google Search.

Team actions
Project problematics:
- Lack of an AI Visibility Strategy
At the start of the work, the website did not have a comprehensive strategy for developing AI Visibility. Content was created mainly with classic SEO factors in mind, while generative systems analyze information based on different principles. For them, the structure of the material, clarity of content, expertise, semantic connections between pages, and the ability to quickly extract a factual answer to a user query are all important.
The RegisTeam team developed a comprehensive AI Visibility Strategy that covered content, technical, and semantic website optimization in line with the principles of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).

Project problematics:
- Lack of specialized files for interaction with LLMs and AI crawlers
At the start of the work, the website was optimized for traditional search engines, but it did not have the modern AI infrastructure needed for effective interaction with large language models (LLMs) and AI crawlers. The website lacked specialized AI files, guidelines for interaction with generative systems, and modern mechanisms that make it easier for AI platforms to analyze, interpret, and use the content.
Example of technical optimization for AI crawlers:
Project problematics:
- Insufficient AI Discoverability
One of the key areas of work was improving AI Discoverability — the website’s ability to be found, analyzed, and used by AI platforms.
To do this, we prepared recommendations for implementing Entity SEO, E-E-A-T signals, authorship, Schema.org structured data, improved internal linking, and AI Prompt Signals that help generative systems better understand the website’s topic and context.
Example of proper authorship implementation for modern AI models:
Project problematics:
- Content not optimized for AI
The analysis showed that most pages were focused only on users and classic search engines. At the same time, generative AI models prefer content with a clear structure, short answers, a logical heading hierarchy, article navigation, FAQ blocks, and structured data.
The RegisTeam team prepared recommendations for implementing AI-ready content, including Summary blocks, Quick Answers, a Table of Contents, FAQ with Schema.org, and Key Takeaways. This made it much easier for generative systems to analyze the pages.

AI Visibility after strategy implementation
After the full set of recommendations was implemented, we recorded significant growth in AI Visibility across almost all key AI platforms. The strongest positive dynamics were shown by Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, and Grok, which began using significantly more website pages when generating answers for users.
Conclusion:
After implementing the AI Visibility Strategy, the project moved from limited presence in generative search to broad coverage across key AI platforms. In total, the website received more than 7,000 AI responses and more than 2,500 pages used by AI systems as sources of information. The strongest growth was recorded in Google AI Mode (+2.8K), Google AI Overviews (+1.9K), and Grok (+1.7K), which shows that the website was successfully adapted to the new generation of search. At the same time, the number of pages used by AI platforms when generating answers also increased, significantly strengthening the brand’s AI Visibility and creating a foundation for the further development of generative traffic.

Growth of topical authority in AI Search
Conclusion:
One of the key results of implementing the AI Visibility Strategy was a significant increase in the number of AI citations for priority topic-related queries. Generative systems began using the website’s pages much more often as a source of information when generating answers for users.
Growth in the number of AI citations across key commercial topics:
The highest activity was recorded in the Personal Finance & Financial Planning, Business, PC Gaming, and Console Gaming categories. In these categories, individual queries received from 300 to 2,500 AI citations, while Citation Share for specific topics reached 32.72%. This confirms that the website has built strong topical authority in its niche, and its content has become one of the sources that modern AI systems regularly rely on.
How we adapt the website to the requirements of modern AI Search
Modern AI Search requires not only high-quality content, but also the right structure, technical preparation, and clear signals for generative models. That is why we implemented a comprehensive AI Visibility Strategy covering the key areas of website optimization for modern AI systems:
We will prepare an AI Visibility strategy, conduct an AI Brand Audit, and help increase your brand’s presence in ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, and other AI systems.
